The Reality & The Risk
Approximately 25 to 35% of people who give birth in the United States report experiencing their birth as traumatic. That is not a rare outcome; it is a public health crisis hiding in plain sight. 1 in 3 birthing people are highly sensitive, and the standard perinatal environment was not designed with their nervous systems in mind. Without care that accounts for how they actually process the world, the risks compound across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The gap is not a flaw in the people we serve. It is a failure of the system trained to serve them. This training exists to close it.
The kicker is, We would all benefit from more regulated and safe spaces.

Who is this for?
This training is for perinatal professionals who are ready to close the gap between the care they are providing and what their most sensitive clients actually need.
-
Doulas, labor and delivery nurses, childbirth educators, and midwives who regularly work with birthing people across the perinatal period
-
Providers who are noticing that some clients are more overwhelmed, more affected, and harder to reach with standard approaches
-
Professionals who want more than intuition; they want language, science, and tools that match what they are already seeing
-
Highly sensitive and neurodivergent providers who recognize that understanding their own nervous system is part of showing up for their clients

Your Feedback is Valuable
This is the inaugural cohort of the Nervous System Safety Training. The content is complete and evidence-based, but your experience as a practitioner in the room is irreplaceable.
Your feedback will directly shape how this training grows, how it is refined, and how it eventually reaches the institutions and organizations that need it most. You are not just attending a workshop. You are helping build something that will change how the perinatal system serves its most vulnerable clients.
Here is what to expect:
-
A brief pre-assessment before the training begins to capture your baseline knowledge and experience
-
A post-assessment immediately following the training to measure what shifted and what you are walking away with
-
A small number of open-ended questions where your reflections and observations are especially welcomed
What becomes possible when you center nervous system safety for yourself and your client?
Birth workers carry something remarkable. In a system that is often rushed, clinical, and indifferent to the emotional landscape of the people moving through it, you are the ones who stay. You hold the space, the silence, the fear, and the hope. You show up when it is hard and you remain when everyone else has left the room. And still, for so many highly sensitive and neurodivergent birthing people, it is not enough. They leave their births feeling disconnected from their own bodies, struggling to bond with their babies, and carrying an experience that was never fully seen or held. The system was not built for them, and that gap has a cost. This training exists to close it.
For you:
-
You will feel more confident taking on the more high risk and vulnerable clients
-
You will have the language and tools to protect the nervous systems, including your own
-
You will feel more at home in your body during labor support, birth, and the postpartum period
-
You will be a stronger advocate because you understand a population that most providers have never been taught to see
-
You will be able to do this work for longer, because you are finally taking care of yourself the ways you always care for others
-
You will reduce your risk of burnout by being more grounded in who you are and what you know
For your clients:
-
They will feel seen, maybe for the first time in a care setting, in a way that is actually supportive
-
Their experience will be protected and preserved during one of the most transformative periods of their lives
-
They will move through matrescence, the transition to motherhood, with more safety, more agency, and more dignity
-
The risk of birth trauma decreases and birth satisfaction increases
-
A woman will always remember the day she gave birth. You have the power to shape what she carries with her, how she bonds with her baby, how she shows up for her family, and how she sees herself as a mother
-
The impact of this work does not end at discharge. It ripples forward through families, through generations, through the way these children are held and known by a mother who felt held and known herself
This is what nervous system safety makes possible. And it starts with you.
Why Is This $10?
Because this is the beginning of something that is meant to grow, and you are part of what makes that possible.
The Nervous System Safety Training is priced at $10 for the pilot cohort as a reflection of where we are in the process, not the value of what you will receive. The content is complete. The frameworks are evidence-based. The outcomes are real.
After the pilot, the price goes up. But right now, keeping it accessible is how this work reaches the people who can help shape it and carry it forward.
Your $10 supports the continued development of a training that is working toward something larger, formal credentialing, institutional adoption, and a perinatal system that finally knows how to protect its most sensitive clients. This is the ground floor of that.
The more perinatal pros who understand this work, the safer birth & postpartum becomes for everyone. Please share.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I'm at a birth and can't make the live session?
We get it. Births do not follow a schedule, and that is exactly why every registered participant receives access to the recording. You can still watch, learn, and submit your feedback on your own time.
What will you do with the feedback?
Every response is taken seriously. Your feedback will be used to refine the content, improve the delivery, and strengthen the case for bringing this training to institutions and organizations. You are contributing to something that will reach far beyond this cohort.
Will this training count toward my continuing education hours?
Not at this time. The Nervous System Safety Training is working toward formal credentialing, but no CE credit is available for the pilot cohort. Stay connected for updates as that process develops.

Will the price stay the same for future cohorts?
Not a chance. This pricing is exclusive to the pilot workshop, and it comes with a big asterisk: you're getting the full three-hour training. Future public workshops will be a condensed one-hour version, starting at $25. The full three-hour training will be available exclusively at the organizational level, priced between $400 and $1,500 depending on group size and format.
In other words? You're getting the most comprehensive version of this training at the lowest price it will ever be offered. Secure your spot now!
