I met Abigail during her time with San Antonio Birth Doulas, although her departure saddened me the impact she had on me will forever remain. As a neurodivergent individual it can be challenging for me to connect with people but with Abigail we instantly clicked. She was everything an expecting mom would want and need in her doula, plus she was always sensitive and considerate of how my neurodivergence affected the pregnancy and birth experience. I had very little support and Abigail was the friend and family I needed and I can’t imagine what that time would’ve been like without her by my side; my only regret was not connecting with her earlier in my pregnancy! The best part is she became more than just my doula but someone who I can trust and call a friend. I know that she will pour that same love, authenticity and uplifting energy into anyone she connects with and I wish her all the success!

I'm so glad to be a part of this group. I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking about the role of nervous system in comprehensive perinatal wellness. Happy to be in a place to incubate ideas, connect with others, and ultimate create more healing systems.

Working with Abigail was one of the greatest blessings of my entire pregnancy and postpartum journey. As a young first-time mom carrying so much anxiety and uncertainty, having someone like her by my side truly changed everything for me. From the very beginning, Abigail was so much more than a doula. She became a constant source of comfort, knowledge, strength, and peace during one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life. No matter what time of day it was, Abigail was always there to talk me through every fear, worry, or question my partner and I had. Knowing I always had someone safe, calming, and informed to lean on gave me a level of peace I honestly don’t know I would have found otherwise. She never made me feel like any concern was too small, and that support alone made such a difference in helping me actually enjoy my pregnancy instead of living in fear. She went above and beyond in ways I will never forget. She taught both my partner and me comfort measures and techniques that helped us feel prepared, connected, and empowered throughout pregnancy and labor. When I went into labor, Abigail was the one who kept me calm over the phone until my partner could get home to me, and I truly believe her presence in those moments changed the course of my experience. During labor and delivery, Abigail was everything I needed and more. She was grounded, fierce, knowledgeable, and unwavering. When emotions were high, and I felt vulnerable, she advocated for me, helped me find my voice, and made sure my birth preferences were respected when medical staff began pushing interventions I wasn’t comfortable with. She brought such a powerful, calming presence into that room and made me feel protected, heard, and capable. Even after birth, Abigail’s care never stopped. In those first precious seconds after delivery, she was right there making sure I was okay, comfortable, and supported. She checked on us at the hospital the very next day and continued showing up postpartum to help us process our experience, answer our questions, and ease the worries that come with new parenthood. Abigail didn’t just support me through pregnancy and birth; she genuinely shaped my entire experience into something empowering, beautiful, and positive. Because of her, I look back on my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey with gratitude instead of fear. She changed my life in ways I will never be able to put into words fully. I feel endlessly blessed to know her and forever grateful that she was by my side during such a life-changing chapter. Abigail is truly one of the sweetest souls I have ever met, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to any mother who wants to feel deeply supported, empowered, and cared for. She is extraordinary.

Abigail is an amazing and calm presence. Not only did she guide me through preparing for my second birth, but she went above and beyond to emotionally support me when my support system fell apart. Labor is mental and physical, and I knew I could count on her for everything related to my birth. I was never judged for how I needed help, and I highly suggest utilizing her services if you need judgement free support!

Abigail guided us through our third birth and my husband and I agree that this Birth was the best because of her! She is so gentle and informed and we would highly recommend her to anyone!

Our family had an amazing experience with Abigail. She has blessed our family more than she knows! From pregnancy to birth and postpartum, Abigail was there for us every step of the way. From the moment my husband and I met her, we immediately felt supported. She is incredibly caring, PATIENT, and truly invested in the families she works with. My experience with Abigail was one that I will never ever forget. She was extremely patient, thoughtful, generous, and helpful throughout the entire process of my pregnancy and birth. She provided an abundance of helpful information and resources to me throughout my pregnancy. On the day of my birth, she made me feel way more comfortable and confident. Having experienced a traumatic birth prior, having Abigail by my side truly made a world of a difference. The education and information she provided me with helped tremendously with healing from what I had been through in my past birth. Had I not had her I am 100% certain I would’ve had another traumatic birthing experience. I would utilize her services in every single one of my births. If you are able to gain access to Abigail, her expertise, her services, and her wonderful resources, I recommend with every fiber of my being that YOU DO!!! She has a huge heart, a warm presence, and she is naturally gifted in her craft of caring for women during their pregnancies and births. She truly puts her heart and soul into what she does. Our experience with Abby was absolutely incredible! From our first meeting, she was attentive, kind, and reassuring. This was my first pregnancy so I was completely clueless and very nervous about the pregnancy and labor. Her expertise in coaching us through labor positions and helping us make informed decisions allowed me to have the empowering birth experience I had visualized.
