Your Patients Are Carrying More Than a Baby.

They're carrying unprocessed fear. Dysregulated nervous systems. Birth stories that haven't been told yet. And most of the time, the standard care model wasn't built to hold that.

You already know this. You see it in your office, the birth space, your therapy room. You're the provider who notices — and who wishes there were more tools, more language, more support to give.

That's exactly why The Mind the Bump Perinatal Network exists.

A Home Base for Providers Who Get It.

The Mind the Bump Perinatal Network is a growing community of doulas, midwives, OBs, therapists, pelvic floor specialists, lactation consultants, and perinatal professionals of all kinds — united by one shared conviction:

The nervous system is not a luxury. It's the foundation of better maternal health outcomes.

When you join The Network, you're not just adding another directory listing to your profile. You're aligning yourself with a mission — and getting the tools to back it up.

Your Network Membership Includes:

  • A Personalized Referral Link

Send your patients directly to Mind the Bump resources with a link that's tied to you. When they arrive, they already know you sent them somewhere safe.

A Word From The Founder

I'm Abigail Perrill — doula, childbirth educator, and the founder of Mind the Bump.

I hold a Master of Science in Public Health and have spent years sitting with families in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. What I kept seeing, over and over, was this: the clinical care was there. The medical expertise was there. But the nervous system piece — the part that determines whether a person actually feels safe in their body through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period — was almost always missing.

Mind the Bump exists to fill that gap.

I built The Network because I know the providers who are going to change outcomes for perinatal patients aren't the ones waiting for the system to catch up. They're already in their offices, their birth spaces, and their therapy rooms, doing it differently.

I want to find you. Support you. And make sure your patients know you exist.

If that's you — welcome. I'm glad you're here.

— Abigail

A Few Things Worth Knowing

  • Is this really free?

Yes. The Network membership is completely free for providers who are committed to the mission. There are no hidden fees, no trial periods, and no obligation to upgrade.

  • What kinds of providers join?

Doulas, midwives, OBs, therapists, social workers, pelvic floor PTs, lactation consultants, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and any other perinatal professional who works with expecting or postpartum individuals.

  • What does "committed to the mission" mean?

It means you believe nervous system safety is a real and necessary part of perinatal care — and that you're actively working to support that in your practice, whatever that looks like for you.

  • Is there an option to get more involved?

Yes. Providers who want deeper access, early resource releases, a voice in what gets built, and a private community of aligned peers can upgrade to Grounded Partners at any time.
